MAJOR EVENTS

Since 1978, this Elite Women’s curling event has drawn top teams from all over Canada as well as from around the world. It regularly has the highest strength of field for any event outside of the Season of Champions and the Grand Slam.

The 2023 event, the 45th Autumn Gold Curling Classic, is scheduled October 6 to 9 (Friday to Monday) at the Calgary Curling Club, 720 – 3 Street NW. We expect a great international field as always, including past champions, provincial champions and some teams with their new lineups like Team Peterson, Team Skrlik, Team Cameron, plus teams from Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Korea, and the USA.

The 2023 Original 16 Tour Bonspiel is scheduled for November 10 -12 (Friday to Sunday) at the Calgary Curling Club, 720 – 3rd Street NW.

The event started in 2012 and has been played every year (except 2020 due to the Covid pandemic). This event is part of the Alberta Curling Tour.
