GROUP RATES
The ice at the Calgary Curling Club is available for private use by individuals or corporate groups. A curling outing can make for a great social gathering, birthday celebration, team building experience or break from an important business meeting.
A typical booking for an adult group lasts 2 hours and includes a 30-minute introductory on-ice lesson. The cost for such a rental is as follows:
1 to 3 sheets: $98.54 per sheet plus $50
4 to 6 sheets: $98.54 per sheet plus $100
7 to 8 sheets: $98.54 per sheet plus $150
All prices include GST.
One sheet can accommodate up to 8 people. E.g. a group of 40 people would require 5 sheets and would pay ($98.54 X 5) + $100 for a total of $592.70.
Instruction
The fees listed above include an introductory lesson. Some groups wish to have an instructor remain present while they play to answer question, provide tips or to assist in organizing. The cost for instruction or on-ice assistance beyond the initial lesson is $35 per 30 minutes per instructor.
What Participants Need
For those that do not have their own curling shoes, all is required is that you wear clean, soft-soled shoes that have not been worn into the club (running shoes work well) and warm loose-fitting clothing. The rest of the equipment can be rented.
Equipment
Equipment is available at a fee for those who do not have their own. Brooms, sliders and grippers may be rented at fee of $6 per person. Only individuals using rental equipment will be charged.

Youth Groups
For groups with participants ages 10 to 15, one-hour rentals are available at a cost of $150 per sheet. This includes ice, instruction, equipment and a light meal afterwards.
Food & Beverage
The Calgary Curling Club is pleased to offer a variety of catering options, from pub-style snacks to full-meal buffets. Menu options can be discussed with the Club�s Food & Beverage Manager once we have booked your ice time.
